Delilah Declarations
I have taken to standing, waving my arms around and yabbering to some unknown. invisible audience for minutes at a time. Am I reciting Baby-Shakespeare, practicing my inaugural speech as Prime Minister or imitating MammaLou. Who knows? One thing's for sure ... I'm starting to have a lot to say for myself ... I start pre-school next week ... watch out Teech!

I love my new bed
Grandad built me a bed ... he is very talented (check out the amazing stuff he builds at (www.carbonframing.com). Here I am singing away in it. We always sing before we go to sleep. MammaLou returns to her Catholic upbringing and sings hymns ... we have an Ave Maria, Peace Perfect Peace and finish with a 'Shalom my friend' which she tells me she used to sing at school at the beginning of the day. Lovely. Only one more big sleep in my bed and Daddy will be home. Hurrah!

Boing, donk, wap
Am so adventurous these days that I overextend myself and fall down which results in sooooo many bruises and bumps. Just yesterday I fell in the sandpit in the park and donked my head on the playthings .... of all the space there I just had to headbutt the water pipe perfectly! Egghead bruise ... call social services (or gimme more chocolate to alleviate the pain)! Oh a couple of you have asked in alarm if that is chocolate on my face or more cuts and damage ... don't worry folks its just the good stuff that MammaLou gave me for being brave.

30 words
So this morning (another rainy August day) we have been going through all the words that I can now say We're at a flirty 30! That's the cerebral done ... time to run and climb a tree ... here's me at Max's house chasing a chicken...

Stop the press
Oh my, three posts in one day, but I finally got the chance to tell you that I talk, I try to do headstands, I climb everything, I've developed an impressive logic for shapes, colours and sizes and I can nearly swim. I know -- get me! So I've been yabbering for ages and have a vocabulary of about 30 words, but I now constantly ask 'wa da' (cue MammaLou running for physics books to PROPERLY explain thunder and lightning rather than 'God's cross and moving the furniture around' which is what she believed for years.) And yesterday I clearly said 'that is a chair'. It was as well.
And I give out big hugs these days. MWAH darlings, MWAH.
Little Miss GiggleDiddle
From being cross about everything a few months ago, I now giggle at ev-er-y-thing and sing all the time! Tonight I found that putting on my jimmyjams was just the most hilarious thing and this morning MammaLou woke up to hear me scuttling around (still inside my sleeping bag) trying to find the television. (I think she's hoping I'll make her breakfast in bed one of these days but I get waylaid by the first 15 minutes of 'Happy Feet' which I will watch over and over and then recreate in the street, tappetty tap to make people smile.)
Don't worry, be happy ...
Don't worry, be happy ...
Olympic spirit
Check out the new video of me ... people think I am just walking along a wood carving on a croc in a park ... but I'll let you in on a little secret ... I'm in training for the 2020 olympics ... the beam ... look at these moves.
Mummy is training again too ... she went to the gym for the first time in 6 months this morning mumbling about gaining 3 stone in 6 months and not being fit enough for labour. Dunno what the treadmill has got to do with politics? That Brown fellow doesn't exactly look ripped? MammaLou's TummyHouse sure is getting big tho ... and Atticus is nearly as much of a mover as me. Gonna have to keep my eye on that wee fellow.
Loud Northern Nanny just went home ... I love her, she's mental.
It was my boyfriend's 2nd birthday yesterday -- HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAX x (I say he's my boyfriend but he's blonder than me and that's not fair!). A big shout out also to Auntie Lizzie in Dubai who also had a birthday recently but we weren't organised enough to get the gifts there in time. Apparently AL has become a running bear ... I'll race you around the park when you're here in September ... bet you can't catch meeeeeeeee!
Hello to Daddy in Sydney ... missing you, thanks for leaving me cards to open each day while you're away. See you on Friday. x

Daddy DVT
Dad's off again ... in 10 days he will visit NY, LA, Sydney and Singapore. We're concerned. Remember 1) hydrate 2) no alcohol 3) move around a lot 4) aspirin. Other news .... MammaLou is having a BOY ... and already the name Atticus Gabriel D'Arcy is taking a pounding from people. But as Einstein said, "Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds."
Well said!
